Kidzilla is made up entirely of volunteers. Our sale couldn't happen without all of our many volunteers and we are so grateful for each person that works with us. Each 3 hour shift is important and you will enjoy visiting with other moms (and dads) while you are working to make our sale a success! We also allow high school and college students to volunteer for service hours.
Each person who volunteers a 3 hour shift is able to shop early at our preview sale on Thursday night! Enjoy a smaller crowd and a chance to be among the first to shop!

General Volunteer Tips
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You may be standing for a majority of your work shift and we want you to be comfortable! (Please let us know ahead of time if you have limitations that need to be considered during your work shift.)
- We provide light snacks for workers during their shift - usually water and candy. Please plan your regular meals around your work shift. If you are working 2 or more shifts in a row, a heavy snack will be provided.
- The tasks assigned to workers during their shift are dependent on the needs of a shift. We will always give complete and detailed instructions to workers so that they will be comfortable with the tasks assigned to them.
- Drop-off day workers usually help us inspect and place items on the sales floor as they come in.
- Shopping day workers will help us keep the sales floor picked up, check out and scan buyers' merchandise, and other miscellaneous tasks.
- Saturday, after shopping is over, our workers help us re-sort the items that didn't sell so they are ready for consignors to pick up the next day.
- Workers must sign-in as they arrive for their work shift. With so many workers helping us, we need you to make sure you are checked in so you receive credit for your work shift. There is a worker sign-in sheet located at the entrance. We do keep track of volunteers who do not show for a shift and they do not receive future privileges of consigning or volunteering with us.
- After workers are signed in, they will get a Kidzilla name tag and neon green smock to wear during their shift. This helps shoppers and others know who is a volunteer worker.
- Please leave your purse and personal belongings at home, as there is not a place for these to be stored during your shift.
- Our goal is to make your work experience enjoyable and pleasant. We try to have fun while we are working the sale! We look forward to having you join us!
