How to be a Consignor

Consignor (Seller) Numbers will be available online, through this website, on July 31, 2009.

Follow these steps exactly to register properly!! Have these printed directions available so you will be ready on Saturday morning.

  1. Register to be a seller. When registering you will be required to enter your name, address, phone number and email.
  2. Select a merchandise drop-off time. After you register and receive your seller number, you will see a "Consignor Menu", where this is an option.
  3. If you would like to work a shift during the sale (lots of early shopping perks for workers!), then sign up for a work shift.
  4. You will need to enter the items you want to sell into the inventory system.

Once you receive a Consignor Number online, you MUST attend one of the following Orientations to learn about our new bar-coding system for your number to be ACTIVATED!

July 31 at 5:00 am to 6:00 pm

Orientation will be held at the Conference Room at Developmental Services Inc.

Consignor Items to Remember:

  1. A registration fee of $10 is required to offset expenses of the sale. Sellers may work a shift and pay no registration fee. Go to DSI's website to see the available shift dates and times and call to sign up for one or more of the 3 hour shifts.
  2. Sellers must have a minimum of 50 items and a maximum of 150 items.
  3. We strongly recommend that sellers use the option to reduce some (or all) of their items to HALF off if they haven't sold by Saturday. It can only increase your check and reduce the number of items you take home after the sale!
  4. Please remember that the success of the sale depends on having items to sell. If you are unable to use your seller number, PLEASE contact DSI. This will allow someone on the waiting list to participate as a consignor.

If you are unable to get a Consignor number, please call 1-800-745-7686 stating that you would like to be added to the waiting list. Please include your name and phone number. You will be added to the wait list in the order in which the emails are received.
